About

So, this is me. I was 21 years old the day I married my best friend. We'll call him Maverick. He's a pilot, and while he's not military, he is hotter and cooler to me than Mr. Cruise could ever be. On our 2nd date he took me flying and I felt like I was smack in the middle of a fairy tale and it is still being told! I'm a southern belle raised, but born mid-western. I stay at home with my kiddos and in between trying to clean, cook, and manage, I LOVE to create. Anything. I've been this way as long as I can remember.
I'm trying so hard to not live "my life". I'm trying to life God's plan for my life. I fall down and get up often. I Love Jesus and want my children to learn who they are in him as the foundation of their lives rather than what the world has to offer. My husband and I try to remember what is first in our marriage.

Ecclesiastes 4:12
"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."

Here is my family! This is on James Island in S.C. at the Christmas lights. Smiling parents and crazy kids R Us in photos. Love my babies. My son is a 2007 child and my daughter 2009. My cup overflows daily with the joy that they bring me.
This is what I do. I make custom boutique girlie items. Tu-tus, bows, floral headpieces, dresses, and on and on. The beautiful girl is mine! She wasn't posing. Just always that adorable! I'm biased, I know, but look at her! ;)
This is a Church in downtown Charleston, SC. My absolute favorite city in the world. Okay I've only been in the U.S. and Canada, but so far this is my dream!

Here is the SUPER condensed version of how I got to this point.
Born in Belleville, IL. Moved to Knoxville, TN at 3 and then onto Maryville. Grew up with my 3 very different brothers. One semester of college and I was sure I wanted to be a flight attendant. I met my husband during that time and we dated for 1 year, 1 month, and 1 day before we wed on 6/3/06 in my hometown church. We were married 6 months before we got pregnant with my son and he was 21 months when our daughter was born. In between all of that we have moved about 9 times. My husband's flying jobs have been a bit crazy, but for now we are back in Knoxville trying to find God's place for us.

Guess you'll find out the same time I do how it all turns out!
